Yes, Jack deserved my sympathy.
The main reason for sympathising with Jack is that he is meager. " And all they had to live on was the milk the cow gave every morning ". This quote really accentuates that Jack is impoverished and forlorn. What happens if one morning, the cow does not give milk? What will Jack and his mum live on? These questions really make me strengthen my opinion of sympathising Jack. Thus, Jack really deserved my sympathy.

What I learnt?
Saturday, July 4, 2009

From the thrilling lesson, I learnt to tell whether the person is evil or good by their appearance. Like what people said, first impression counts! Thus, impressions are formed by speech, appearance, relationships with others, actions and background. I also learnt about the similarities and differences between The Joker and The Batman.

Do I sympathise with the Joker?

I do not sympathise with the Joker at all.
The main reason for not sympathising with the Joker is that he is iniquity. " Shoot the kids and drown the neighbours! ". " The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules! ". These quotes really accentuate that Joker is merciless as he wanted to slay people that were guiltless and also illustrate that Joker is a law breaker. Both being merciless and a law breaker are parts of iniquity. This makes me strengthen my opinion of not sympathising the Joker. Thus, I do not find the Joker forlorn.
